Lacking the woodcut “Versohnung”. Hand-printed from the original blocks by Gerhard Kohler, Baden-Baden on hand made laid paper with watermark initials “GB 1980”. With the blind stamp “Handdruck vom Originalstock bestatigt – Otto Stangl”. This portfolio was published in 1984 by Otto Stangl, a Munich gallerist and the executor of Franz Marc’s estate. Each woodcut numbered in pencil 3/30. Loose sheets in paper folders with a reproduction of the woodcut on the front of each folder. All woodcuts protected by tissue guards. Sheets 52,4 x 40 cm. Blocks in various sizes from 29,7 x 26,5 cm. (largest) to 7,8 x 6 cm. (smallest). Kept in light blue cardboard clamshell box with blue cloth spine and blue lettering on front. Woodcuts with strong impressions and (4) with vivid colors. Both woodcuts and folders in mint condition. Box in fine condition. Rare.
