Original black and silver lenticular printing illustrated boards (3D effect) with silver lettering on spine. Boards are very bright and square with great depth illusion. Contributions by Andy Warhol, Stephen Shore, Billy Name, Nat Finkelstein and others. Pop-ups, fold-outs, affixed items and black-and-white photographs. Binding cracked at last “blank” pages now strengthened with cellotape strokes. The balloon has melted between two pages also affecting adjacent pages. All other objects are present and in fine condition: 1) a pop-up castle, 2) a fold-out accordion (still squeaks after some practice),3) a pop-up airplane, 4) a spring-mounted Chelsea Girls disc, 5) a dodecahedron paper sculpture, 6) the Lou Reed flexi-disc was removed from its tab but is present, 7) a fold-out sheet with rainbow nose and overlays, 8) a pop-up Hunt’s Tomato Paste can, 9) all 8 tear-outs ‘For a big surprise’.
