With 20 full page lithographs outside the text; 15 in brown depicting the nun and 5 in purple with flower motifs. Numerous in text, lithographed, flower motif vignettes and initials in purple. The lithographs were printed by Mourlot Freres in Paris. This is copy number 105 of a limited edition of 250 and 20 HC copies. Printed on Velin d’Arches. Signed in ink by Henri Matisse on the justification page. One sheet (pp. 103-106) with some discoloration along lower sheet edge, not affecting the lithograph or the text. Otherwise all lithographs are in fine condition. Wrappers with light wear to upper spine end and a crease to lower right corner. Without the boards and slipcase. 27,8 x 22,2 cm.
